. COLORATION AND VESTITURE: Body generally carmine or reddish brown. Head reddish maroon, rather shining, with yellow lateral margins along eyes. Antenna uniformly pale or yellowish brown, slender; apex of segment I sometimes tinged with red; segments III and IV dark brown; the former with whitish extreme base. Labium shiny reddish brown. Pronotum carmine, usually widely infuscate; scutellum pale reddish maroon; pleura as in
