Scutellum with punctures larger and denser than on elytra; elytra with faint metallic reflections contrasting with scutellum that is without these reflections; with fine, dense punctures. The size of teeth of mandibles varies in proportion to the size of specimens, as well as the more distinct development of punctures and coarse microsculpture of abdomen, which is more pronounced in larger specimens.
