(Plate C5E). This species can be diagnosed by the following combination of characters, including coloration. The antennal scrobe does not appear to be carinate, and the gena is weakly carinate. But this species is coarsely sculptured, which makes it difficult to determine presence or absence of carinae. The posterolateral angle of the head lacks a tubercle. Flagellomere I is short, the mesosoma is longer than broad, and a scutellar scale is present. The integument of the head is black, the mesosoma is reddish, and tergum II may have reddish maculae. The apical fringe of tergum I is white, as are the apical fringe of tergum II and the remainder of the metasoma.
