Description.
Holotype
male. Dorsal color: Head shiny yellow; antenniferous tubercle with olive-green to pale green sheen; ocelli pale orange; eyes dark reddish; antennal segment I with outer face dark castaneous orange and inner face dark yellow, segments II to IV black to dark reddish brown; pronotum and scutellum yellow, punctures pale castaneous orange; clavus pale pink; claval vein yellow and punctation pale castaneous; corium pale pink turning dark reddish near costal margin, all veins yellow; apical margin yellow, suffused with pale scattered pink spots; hemelytral membrane entirely yellow, translucent; connexiva yellow; dorsal abdominal segments pale orange with posterior border of segment VII yellow. Ventral color: Rostral segments (except apex of IV brown), legs, anterior and posterior lobe of metathoracic peritreme and genital capsule yellow; apex of femora with two pale reddish brown to pale castaneous orange spots, lateral to midline; tarsi with middle and basal segment black to dark reddish brown. Structure: Head smooth; inner margin of eye non tuberculate; rostrum reaching middle third of mesosternum; rostral segment I reaching anterior border of prosternum. Pronotal disk densely punctate, punctations small, dense, occasionally connected or fused; collar, anterior margin and calli smooth, without punctures; anterior angles rounded; anterolateral borders obliquely straight, crenate, laterally with posterior third unexposed or emarginated; humeral angles rounded; posterolateral borders and posterior border smooth, straight. Genital capsule. Posteroventral edge with a short medial keel, bifurcated distally and laterally delimited by two short, conical, strong projections; a deep pit below keel; body strongly convex (

Measurements (mm). Head length1.24, width across eyes 2.17, interocular space 1.17, interocellar space 0.25, preocular distance 0.70; length antennal segments I, 2.85, II, 2.35, III, 1.92, IV, 4.58. Pronotal length 2.29, width across humeral angles 3.65. Scutellar length 1.86, width 1.48. Body length 12.97.
Female. Habitus and color similar to male

Diagnosis.
This species is easy to distinguish from all other
Cnemomis
species, by color of the hemelytral membrane being entirely yellow translucent, without the black basal angular spot present of the rest of the species.
