Remarks.
A
species with a distribution in southern and eastern Africa (
Botswana
,
Namibia
,
South
Africa
,
Zimbabwe
and
Mozambique
), but recorded also to
Yemen
(Insectoid.info 2017). Adult specimens fit well the descrition of this species, including the aedeagus conformation (
Basilewsky 1950b
). Adults were found on ground during night near public lights (e.g. see comments on C.
rikatlensis
remarks). It is a new species record for
Angola
.
