Morocco : ♂ holotype , Marrakech, 7.iv.1920 ( Dakki 1978 ); 1♂ paratype , Settat, 11–12.iv.1920 ( Dakki 1978 ); 1♂ , 152L, Lalou river, 2005 (Bonada et al. 2008); 6♂ , 9P, 290L, Rif, 1998– 2007 ( Hajji et al. 2013 ); 14♂ , 107P, 927L, northeastern Morocco , 2014–2018 ( Mabrouki et al. 2020 ). Tunisia : 2P, 106L, Medjerda river, Nd ( Bennas et al. 2018 ). Distribution. The distribution area is limited to the Canary Islands and the Maghreb. It was reported from Morocco (Bonada et al . 2008; Hajji et al. 2013 ; Lamri et al. 2016 ); Tunisia ( Allaya 2003 ; Bennas et al. 2018 ); and Algeria (Arab 1989; Arab et al. 2004 ; Samraoui et al. 2020; Bemmoussat-Dekkak et al. 2021 ). In the Canary Islands, it was first mentioned as H. flava Nybom 1948 (Morse 2020) .
