Both wasp and spider were collected while it pulled the paralyzed wandering spider, with her mandibles, up a muddy embankment in a forested area . The wasp stood over the wandering spider and stung it between the 1 st and 2 nd right coxa as it laid, dorsal side upward, on the ground ( Daniel 2019 ) . COSTA RICA : Heredia Province , Sarapiqui ; 13 April 2019 ; K. Catlin (kcat). Host: Kiekie sp., adult or subadult female. The wasp stood over the paralyzed wandering spider as it laid on the ground, dorsal side upward, examining it with her antennae ( Catlin 2019 ) .
