Material examined HNHM / AF5671 , 1 ex . New Caledonia , Mt. Do Nature Reserve ( 21.70° S , 165.98° E ), mountain forest, 7 February 2014 , leg . T . Pavlí Č ek and O . Pearlson . Remarks Our material fits well with the original description; some slight differences, however, do exist. According to Michaelsen (1913) A. humboldti has only one pair of vesicles in 12. In our specimen, there is a pair of vesicles also in 9. The shape and ornamentation of the penial setae are completely identical; the width of the seta, however, is almost double that of the original description (130 μm vs. 70 μm). The same pattern has been observed in the genital seta as well. In our specimen it measures 2.13 mm × 75 μm vs. 2 mm × 35 μm). Acanthodrilus longicystis Jamieson & Bennett, 1979
