We compared our male specimen with the original description (

) and images of type specimen from OSF (
<bibRefCitation id="FA8C8E811D2AEB058A869256F4C66E3D" pageId="0" pageNumber="119">Cigliano et al. 2018</bibRefCitation>
): male tenth abdominal tergite, cerci, and subgenital plate resemble our specimen. This species was described from Java, suggesting that our male specimen represents the first record of this species and genus in Borneo.
