Diagnosis:
Females of
Cyrtopholis unispina
can be distinguished from those of other species by the aspect of the spermathecae, both receptacles having a wide base (
Fig. 19
). Slight subapical constriction of seminal receptacles, similar to that found in
C. ramsi
(
Rudloff, 1995
, fig. 15), but the receptacle bases are as wide as in
C. unispina
. AME are the smallest of all eyes (
Fig. 18
). Posterior sternal sigilla elongated and far away from the margin (
Fig. 16
). Metatarsus IV very long (
13.5 mm
), twice as long as tarsus IV (
6.5 mm
). No projection on cephalothorax, such as hump (
Fig. 20
), present in
C. gibbosa
,
C. regibbosa
and
C. bryantae
.
Redescription:
Holotype
female (IES 35). Color (in ethanol 70%): light brown (

), sternum and legs dark yellow. Total length: 35.5. Carapace (

): length 3.0, width 4.2. Anterior and posterior eyes row recurved (

). Eyes sizes: AME 0.30, ALE 0.45, PME 0.45, PLE 0.45. Basal segments of chelicerae with 14 teeth each. Labium (

), length 8.0, width 6.0. Sternal sigilla elongated anterior and median near the margin and posterior distant from margin (
