Type species: Daochia reticulata Wei, Zhang & Webb, 2006 Diagnosis. This genus is similar to Stegelytra and Honguchia in having reticulate forewing venation and lateral frontal sutures extending to corresponding ocellus, but differs from Stegelytra by: (i) forewing apex truncate; (ii) the anteclypeus broad and convex with latero-apical areas depressed, lora very narrow; (iii) pronotum with lateral carina straight and the posterior margin sinuate; (iv) scutellum without median or posterolateral ridge or keel; (v) valve fused with the subgenital plate; (vi) paramere very elongate and by the apically fimbriolate aedeagus. And it also differs from Honguchia by: (i) the lateral margin of the postclypeus more strongly convex, apical veins of the forewing modified but not reticulate; (ii) the unusual triangular shaped basal lobe of the subgenital plate projecting into the pygofer; (iii) the styles much longer.
