Comment
This species was cited as a junior synonym of
C. varia
(
Moure
et al.
2007
)
, but it is actually a different species.
Centris rufulina
is only known from the
type
specimen and differs from
C. varia
, among other characters, by the shape of the third mandibular tooth (truncate in
C. rufulina
, acute in
C. varia
).
