Diagnosis.
Nemia
can be readily separated from the genera
Nemopterella
,
Siccanda
and
Afroptera
by at least four key features: the apical antennal segment ends in a short sharp tooth-like point (not membranous); males lack abdominal pleuritocavae; the thorax and abdomen are characteristically striped, and the costal cells have dark marks on the membrane.
