Comments
:—In Marambaia, this species occurs in Dense Sobmontane Ombrophuilous Forest. It can be distinguished by the axillary inflorescences at leafy and/or aphyllous nodes, the floral buds and petals with acute to acuminate apices, bilobed laciniate calyx, and the partly inferior ovary.
