Remark : Thyatira batis is a widely distributed taxon in Eurasia with the following other subspecies: T. batis batis (Linnaeus, 1758) ( Russia , N-NE China , Europe), T. batis formosicola Matsumura, 1933 ( Taiwan) and T. batis pallida Rothschild, 1920 (Sumatra) ( László et al. , 2007 ).
