Previously known from Taiwan, Philippines, Indonesia, Solomon Islands; 148–620 m (McLaughlin & Lemaitre 2009). Newly recorded from Papua New Guinea. Habitat . Hollows in sunken wood (McLaughlin et al . 2007; McLaughlin & Lemaitre 2009; this study)
