Size
. Largest male sl 4.1 mm, largest female sl 4.8 mm, ovigerous female sl 4.6 mm.
Distribution
. Japan, Taiwan, Philippines, Indonesia, Solomon Islands, Tonga, Fiji, Vanuatu, New Caledonia, Australia, New Zealand; 100–700 m (McLaughlin & Lemaitre 2009).
Habitat
. Cavities in pumice rock (Miyake 1982; Forest 1987; McLaughlin & Lemaitre 2009; this study)
