( Figs. 12E, 12F , 55 ) Diagnosis. This species is similar to S . ( S .) menghai sp. nov. in the shape of male terminalia ( Figs. 50 , 55 ), but can be distinguished from the latter by having the pregonite blurry or absent ( Fig. 50B, C ); the aedeagus laterally deeply dehiscent and with 4 small black teeth per side, distally lacking serrated process ( Fig. 55B, C ). FIGURE 55. Stegana ( Steganina ) nigridentata Li & Chen , sp. nov. , male terminalia. A. Epandrium, surstylus, and cercus in lateral view; B, C. Hypandrium, aedeagus, and phallapodeme in ventral and lateral views; D, E. Aedeagal sheath in ventral and lateral views; F. Subepandrial sclerite in ventral view. Description. Male and female: First flagellomere dark brown. Clypeus dark brown medially, yellow laterally. Mesonotum brown to black medially, brownish yellow to brown laterally ( Fig. 12E ). Katepisternum yellow above, brownish below ( Fig. 12F ). Scutellum dark brown to black ( Fig. 12E ). Halter mostly grey ( Fig. 12F ). Fore femur with a row of 3 or 4 long setae on distal part of posteroventral surface. Abdominal tergites mostly black ( Fig. 12E , margin, lacking pubescence ( Fig. 55A ). Cercus with much pubescence ( Fig. 55A ). Hypandrium expanded anteromedially ( Fig. 55B, C ). Aedeagal sheath distally dorsad curved and with numerous minute, serrated processes ( Fig. 55D, E ). Subepandrial sclerite vaulted ( Fig. 55F ). Measurements and indices.
