Five females, Kostanay Region , Kazakhstan , 53°15ʹN , 66°29ʹE , 5 October 2019 , A.K. Is-sakova coll., from soil (in TSUMZ ) . Remarks. The most recent taxonomic work on the family was by Mašán (2017) , who comprehensively revised the generic concepts and morphological attributes of this family. A . corbiculus was described from British Isles in moss ( Sowerby, 1806 ), and has been recorded from Europe, England and China ( Mašán, 2017 ). It is now recorded in Kazakhstan for the first time, from soil. Mašán (2017) designated a lectotype of A . corbiculus , and synonymised Ameroseius norvegicus with A . corbiculus . Our specimens agree very well with the description given by Narita et al . (2015) (for A . norvegicus ), also with modifications presented by Mašán (2017) for this species. Ameroseius corbiculus is easily recognised by the 29 pairs of stout and robust setae, long enough to reach the base of the next posterior setae, seta j1 flat, broad and serrate ( Fig. 1 ) and five pairs of setae on the opisthogastric soft integument ( JV4 absent) ( Fig. 2 ).
