Species widely distributed in western Equatorial Africa. Known from Cameroon , Democratic Republic of the Congo , Gabon , Ivory Coast and Nigeria . Remarks. The genus Melisa consists of three rather uniform species, although they are easily separated by the colouration of the legs and position of the veins in the forewing. Their biology is unknown but the collecting localities suggest that they are related to the tropical rainforest zone.
