Diagnosis This species is very similar to Panorpa striata Miyaké, 1908 by the greatly shortened male hypovalves, but can be readily differentiated from the latter by the lack of two reversed Y-shaped patterns on the wings. Distribution Japan : Honshu ( Gifu , Hiroshima , Hyōgo , Nagano , and Toyama ) ( Fig. 6 ).
