Remarks.
Dyal (1935)
described
A
.
mulani
based on male and female specimens collected in
Pakistan
. Even though it was originally described under
Pardosa
C.L. Koch, 1847
, the illustration of the female epigynum (
Dyal 1935
: fig. 46) clearly indicates it is a member of
Arctosa
. However, as mentioned above,
Tikader & Malhotra (1980)
and
Lu
et al.
(2016)
probably misidentified this species. Thus, the
neotype
designation by
Tikader & Malhotra (1980)
is doubtful and we herein consider
A. mulani
as a
species inquirenda
.
