Remarks.
This species has a smooth shell surface that has three small lobes surrounding the cephalis. Furrows between lobes are associated with the dorsal and lateral spines, which become incorporated into the thorax. The concept of this species is poorly defined and in need of additional study; it may be a group containing multiple species.
