Material examined . 1 female ( MGAB CUM 1794 ), St. John , U.S. Virgin Islands , Caribbean Sea 54 m , May 8, 2012 , 18°02.2186”N 64°06.7596”W , 54 m , collected by Nikolaos V. Schizas during the 2012 UPRM-DMS Mesophotic Cruise. Diagnosis . Carapace with 1 dorsal denticle, uropodal peduncle 0.84 times pleonite 6 length, 4 medial setae, endopod with 4 medial setae. Remarks . This species was originally described from Jamaica ( Petrescu et al ., 1994 ). This is the first record of the species from U.S. Virgin Islands . Distrbution .
