ANP.1—Two males (GSMC004330–1). Distribution. Species within the genus Oxypilus range across the African continent. Oxypilus montanus has previously been recorded in Kenya , Rwanda , and Uganda . Oxypilus meruensis ( Sjöstedt, 1909 ) ( Figs 1 B, 7A) Sampling. NNP.3—One male (GSMC004700) from ANP. Distribution. Oxypilus meruensis is previously recorded in Angola , Cameroon , the Democratic Republic of Congo , Eritrea , Ethiopia , Kenya , Malawi , Mozambique , Nigeria , Sudan , Tanzania , Zambia , and Zimbabwe , but is new to Rwanda . Sibylla pretiosa Stål, 1856 ( Figs 5 L, 14B) (nymphs) Sampling. ANP.2—Four nymphs (GSMC004589, GSMC005012–14). Distribution. Species within the genus Sibylla are found across the African continent, but S. pretiosa is the first species within the genus recorded in Rwanda . Sibylla pretiosa is previously recorded in Congo , Ethiopia , Kenya , Malawi , Namibia , Natal , Somalia , Swaziland , Tanzania , Transvaal, Uganda , Zambia , and Zimbabwe .
