Size (mm): (n=1) L=1.10, W=0.82, T=0.61 Width/length: 0.75 No. of females: 1 Aeropylar opening size (m) (n=5): L=1.21 ± 0.07, W=1.02 ± 0.05 Relative aeropylar opening size: 1.1 Micropyles : Indistinct (Figs 245 & 246) No. of openings: obscure No. of cells in rosette: 8 No. of rows of cells in micropylar area: 4 Shape: Moderately broad, bluntly ovoid, anterior pole truncated, wider than posterior pole, slightly angled to horizontal axis, polar profile elliptical, dorso­ventrally flattened (Figs 245–247), wedge­shaped in profile (Figs 244 & 248). Characteristics : Egg marked on all surfaces with hexagonal cells (Figs 247–251). Generally cell walls narrow, recessed, cell floors convex on and adjacent to narrow lateral sides (Fig. 249); in cells in middle of top of egg, walls moderately wide, form broadly rounded, floors concave (Figs 247 & 250); micropylar cell walls narrow, shallowly reticulated (Fig. 246); cells surrounding micropylar area marked only by aeropyles at cell junctions only. Anterior pole cells flat (Fig. 251). Aeropyles slightly elevated, openings small, present on all surfaces (Figs 249 & 251) except middle of top of egg (Figs 247 & 250). Chorion shallowly wrinkled (Fig. 250).
