sternite 1 longer than 2 behind coxal cavity; 2 ascending to 3; sternite 3 longer than 4, combined as long as 5; sternite 5 apex emarginate with shallow ‘‘V’’ of fine setalike scales and lateral tufts of long setalike scales; all sternites with narrow, elongate, white scales.

Genitalia:
not dissected.
Remarks.
Similar to
C. artusfrons
n. sp.
from which it can be separated by shorter rostrum, narrower frons, convex elytra, and scale color.
