T hailand: ―Only known from the type collection. Distribution: ―Peninsular Malaysia , Thailand (South-Eastern). Ecology: ―Moist evergreen forest. Fruiting in April. Notes: Lasianthus maculatus has conspicuous stipules that remain on the plant, 9‒11 mm long, 2 mm width, narrowly triangular or linear, hirsute and fresh drupes white, ellipsoid, 6‒7 mm long, 5 mm diameter, subglabrous with 4 pyrenes.
