( Figs 1–14 ) Coloration. Light to dark brown without definite markings ( Figs 1–2, 4 ). Crown and face brown, eyes dark brown and ocelli reddish brown ( Fig. 3 ). Pronotum ( Figs 1, 3 ) anterior margin light brown, lateral and posterior margins dark brown. Scutellum ( Fig. 3 ) dark brown with basal triangles brown. Forewings ( Figs 1–2 , 5 ) brown except clavus dark brown, with paler venation. Male basal abdominal apodemes ( Fig. 6 ), strut-like, dorsal basal abdominal apodemes short and attaining posterior margin of sternite III, ventral ones poorly developed. Male genitalia. Pygofer ( Fig. 7 ) trapezoidal without setae; in lateral view, dorsal margin short, nearly straight; ventral margin long, slightly convex, apex distinctly upturned, caudal margin concave. Anal collar ( Figs 7–8 ) process with apex foot-like directed caudally. Male valve broader basally than at apex. Subgenital plate ( Fig. 7 ) gradually narrowed to tapered apex, without marginal and surface setae. Style ( Fig. 9 ) with apophysis smooth, subapically expanded and then narrowed to pointed apex directed dorsally ( Fig. 10 ), lacking setae. Connective ( Figs 11–12 ) laminate, stem distinctly longer than combined width of arms. Aedeagus ( Figs 13–14 ) stout, broad basally then abruptly narrowed to finger-like apex, without preatrium and dorsal apodeme; aedeagal shaft compressed laterally, ventral margin with a longitudinal carination, apex with pair of compressed keel-shaped processes; gonopore situated apically on ventral margin. Female. Unknown. Measurements (mm). Male: body length 7.05, face length 1.85, width 2.25; distance between ocelli 0.73; distance from ocellus to eyes 0.35; medial length of pronotum 0.75, width 1.75; scutellum length 1.18, width 1.38; length of anteclypeus 0.53, width across base 0.26, width across subapex 0.38. This species differs from other species of the Tasnimocerus group as follows: body size larger, colour brown to chocolate brown without dark markings, pygofer without dorsal anterior apodemes and ventral process, and lacking setae; aedeagal shaft slightly compressed laterally and without dorsal apodeme and preatrium. Etymology. The specific epithet refers to the transverse rugae on the head and thorax.
