Stalius trisinuatus Rolston, 1992 : 13 ; Ortega-Leon and Thomas, 2004: 191–196 (illustrations, key). Female (fig. 1). Gonocoxites 8 (gc8) wider than long and contiguous at midline, posterior margins sinuous; disc slightly wrinkled and strongly convex. Disc of laterotergites 9 (la9) tumid and wrinkled, with basal area strongly depressed; mesial margins convex, leaving uncovered apex of proctiger (X) and pseudosternite (gc9). Male (figs. 2–3). Pygophore quadrangular. Ventral rim (vr) with 1+1 small convex projections below parameres and shorter than posterolateral angles. Mesial portion of ventral rim projecting posteriorly from genital cup as a small black rounded process. Oval processes (gp) at each side of proctiger (X) attaining apex of parameres (par). Parameres with apex directed towards posterolateral angles. Proctiger with medial longitudinal carina (cx) and deeply excavated at each side of it; posterior margin rounded. FIGURE 1–3.
