This species is very common in
Italy
(
Iorio et al. 2019
). It is generally observable from
June to October, overwintering as adults. It is present in the southern part of the country and on the islands (
Fontana et al. 2002
;
Massa et al. 2012
;
Iorio et al. 2019
). Therefore, the observations made in this study represent interesting data for the Alpine region. During monitoring in 2019, paired individuals were observed on three occasions (
