Description.
FEMALE: (n = 8) Body fusiform, 275 (275–280), 75 (65–75) wide, 70 (70–75) thick; light yellow. Gnathosoma 60 (60–61), projecting downwards, pedipalp coxal setae (

Prodorsal shield

Relation to host.
Vagrant on the leaf undersurface, causing no apparent damage.
Etymology.
The specific designation
guanegounis
is from the locality where the host plant and the new species were collected.
Remarks.
This species is similar to
Rhyncaphytoptus lushanensis
Kuang & Zhao, 1987
, but can be differentiated by the following: prodorsal shield with long and broad frontal lobe (prodorsal shield without frontal lobe in

), accessory setae (
