Webster, flying in yard, (1, DHWC). Leiodes valida is newly recorded in Labrador, Newfoundland, and Nova Scotia . It was recorded from New Brunswick by Baranowski (1993) ( Fig. 4 ). It is the largest North American species in the genus Leiodes . Nothing is known of its bionomics ( Baranowski 1993 ).
