PARALECTOTYPE NOT EXAMINED: 1 ♂ ( MZUF : Box G ): Anthomyia procellaris R., 463, ♂ , Parma / 393 463 . CURRENT STATUS: valid species ( Dely-Draskovits 1993: 22 , Gorodkov et al. 1995: 5 ). REMARKS: Rondani (1866a: 147) described both sexes of Anthomyia procellaris from an unspecified number of specimens. Michelsen (1980a: 286) designated a lectotype ( ♂ ) and paralectotypes ( 5 ♂♂ , 2 ♀♀ ) but did not mention an additional male in the MZUF (this additional specimen is a paralectotype ).
