CURRENT STATUS: junior synonym of Pseudolynchia canariensis (Macquart in Webb & Berthelot, 1839) ( Soós & Hůrka 1986: 222 , Pape et al. 1995: 8 ). REMARKS: Rondani (1879: 23) described Olfersia falcinelli from a single specimen, without specifying its sex: “ Unicum exemplar observavi … Misit olim Clar. Schembri [I observed a single specimen …. Formerly sent by Mr. Schembri]”.
