PARALECTOTYPES EXAMINED: 1 ♀ , paralectotype (mis-sexed as a male) ( MZUF : Box 14): Brachicoma Rnd. / devia Fall. , ♂ [ sic !] / 695 / paralectotype ; 4 ♀♀ , paralectotypes (one missing left fore-, left mid-, right mid-legs and right hind-tarsi; one missing right fore-leg; one missing left mid-leg) ( MZUF : Box 14): Brachicoma Rnd. / devia Fall. , ♀ / 695 / paralectotype . CURRENT STATUS: junior synonym of Brachicoma devia ( Fallén, 1820 ) ( Verves 1986: 114 , Pape 1988: 5 , 1996: 162 ). REMARKS: Rondani (1859b: 204) described Brachicoma adolescens without specifying the number , the sex or the length of the specimens. Pape (1988: 4) designated a lectotype ( ♂ ) and paralectotypes ( 1 ♀ mis-sexed as a male, 4 ♀♀ ).
