TYPE MATERIAL: 1 ♂ , syntype (head glued to the thorax, right wing damaged, missing left mid-, left hind-, and right mid-legs) ( MZUF : Box 25): Azelia Desv. / parva Rndn ., , Parma / 1351; 2 ♀♀ , syntypes ( MZUF : Box 25): Azelia Desv. / parva Rndn ., , Parma / 1352. CURRENT STATUS: valid species ( Pont 1986b: 63 ). REMARKS: Rondani (1866a: 134) described both sexes of Azelia parva without specifying the exact number of specimens and not giving a range of length. The male syntype and the two female syntypes in the MZUF are numbered, respectively, “1351” and “1352”.
