CURRENT STATUS: valid species ( Rivosecchi 1992a: 144 , Rozkošný & Elberg 1984: 179 , Munari & Rivosecchi 1995: 4 ). REMARKS: Rondani (1877b: 26) described Coremacera confluens from just the male sex, without specifying either the number or the length of the specimens: “ semel marem legi [I collected the male once]”. Rivosecchi (1992a: 134) considered the single male in the MZUF as the holotype .
