TYPE MATERIAL: 1 ♀ , lectotype ( MZUF : Box 31): Oxyna Desv. / grandinata Rnd. , , Parma / 1650 / lectotype Oxyna ( Campiglossa ) grandinata Rond., Korneyev des., 1989. PARALECTOTYPES EXAMINED: 2 ♀♀ (one glued to a cardboard stage, the other with head in a plastic vial pinned below specimen) ( MZUF : Box 31): Oxyna Desv. / grandinata Rnd. , , Parma / 1650. CURRENT STATUS: valid species, as Campiglossa grandinata ( Foote 1984: 74 , White 1986: 160 , Korneyev 1990: 450 , Merz 1994: 47 , Belcari et al. 1995b: 10 , Norrbom et al. 1999: 110 ). REMARKS: Rondani (1870c: 131) described Oxyna grandinata without specifying the number , the sex or the length of the specimens, from material he had collected and also received from A. Garbiglietti, treating it within the subgenus Campiglossa Rondani, 1870 . Korneyev (1990: 450) designated a lectotype ( ) and paralectotypes ( 2 ♀♀ ). Morge (1959b: 90) listed this nominal species under the generic name Scopicera , which O’Hara et al . (2011: 200) considered as an “unavailable name; treated under Oxyna Robineau-Desvoidy, 1830 ”.
