TYPE LOCALITY: “ in planitie parmensi [ Parmese plains ( Italy )]” . TYPE MATERIAL: 1 ♀ , syntype (head eaten by dermestids, missing mid-legs) ( MZUF : Box 13): Thrycolyga [ sic !] Rndn. / minor Rnd. / 670. CURRENT STATUS: junior synonym of Exorista (Adenia) nympharum (Rondani, 1859) ( Herting & Dely-Draskovits 1993: 126 ) . REMARKS: Rondani (1859b: 186) described Thricolyga minor from just the female sex, without specifying the exact number of specimens, but giving a single measurement of length: “ Rarissimo foeminam legi [I collected the female rarely]”. We found one syntype in this study. Rondani described this nominal species under the generic name “ Thricolyga ”, which is an “incorrect original spelling of Tricoliga Rondani, 1856 ” ( O’Hara et al. 2011: 180 ).
