TYPE LOCALITY: “ Dania [ Denmark ]” . TYPE MATERIAL: 1 ♂ , 1 ♀ , syntypes (missing right fore- and mid-legs) ( MZUF : Box 11): Nemorea Desv. / sponsa Rnd., Dania / 517 . CURRENT STATUS: junior synonym of Nemoraea pellucida ( Meigen, 1824 ) ( Herting & Dely-Draskovits 1993: 283 ) . We found both syntypes . This nominal species was described under the generic name “ Nemorea ”, which is an “incorrect subsequent spelling of Nemoraea Robineau-Desvoidy, 1830 or subsequent usage of Nemorea Macquart, 1834 ” ( O’Hara et al. 2011: 126 ).
