TYPE LOCALITY: “ in collibus agri parmensis [ Parmese hills ( Italy )]” . TYPE MATERIAL: 1 ♂ , syntype ( MZUF : Box 18): Phasia Mgn / adulterina Rnd. / 956. CURRENT STATUS: junior synonym of Ectophasia crassipennis ( Fabricius, 1794 ) ( Herting & Dely-Draskovits 1993: 402 ) . REMARKS: Rondani (1861b: 220) described Phasia adulterina from just the male sex without specifying either the number or the length of the specimens: “ Masculum tantum legi [I collected only the male]”. We found one syntype in this study. The MZUF also contains an additional four (non-type) specimens: three females numbered “956” (two pinned together) and a male numbered “956” from “ Sicilia ” [= Sicily ], which is not the type locality .
