Rondani (1861b: 220)
described
Phasia adulterina
from just the male sex without specifying either the
number
or the length of the specimens: “
Masculum tantum legi
[I collected only the male]”. We found
one syntype
in this study. The
MZUF
also contains an additional four (non-type) specimens:
three females
numbered “956” (two pinned together) and a male numbered “956” from “
Sicilia
” [=
Sicily
], which is not the type locality
.
