CURRENT STATUS: valid species, as Hypochra parmensis ( Soós 1984c: 50 , Belcari et al. 1995b: 6 ); valid species, as Melieria parmensis ( Kameneva 1997: 41 ) . REMARKS: Rondani (1869a: 19) described Melieria parmensis without specifying the number , the sex or the length of the specimens he had collected and also received from L. Bellardi, F.M. Piccioli and A.H. Haliday. Soós (1983: 255) designated a lectotype ( ♂ ) and paralectotypes ( 1 ♂ , 2 ♀♀ ). Not included by him in the type series is an additional MZUF specimen numbered “1597”, presumably because its label is yellowish rather than the greenish color of Rondani’s original handwritten ones and thus could be a later addition.
