Etymology.
The specific name is combined by ‘
bi
-’ and ‘
apophysis
’, referring the male palpal tibia with two apophyses (
Figs 1F–G
,
2B–C
); term in apposition.
Diagnosis.
Males of the new species are similar to those of
H. zhui
Zhang & Chen,

in having the spinelike LTA near dorsum of tibia and tegular setae proximally, but can be distinguished from the latter by the patellar apophysis much more strongly curved and pointed, RTA relatively short, not close to LTA in retrolateral view, tegulum unmodified, tegular setae located submarginally near prolatero-proximal margin (
Figs 1E–G
,
2A–C
).

Hahnia biapophysis
sp. nov.
, holotype male from Yunnan, China, left palp (A ventral, B retrolateral, C dorsal). CF—cymbial furrow, Em—embolus, LTA—lateral tibial apophysis, MA—median apophysis, PA—patellar apophysis, RTA—retrolateral tibial apophysis.
Male palpal patella with a hook-like apophysis. Tibia with a moderately short RTA extending dorsally and then proximally. Embolus originating retrolatero-proximally, tip of embolus situated near the base of membranous median apophysis, slightly extending beyond apex of cymbial furrow. Cymbial furrow deep and slightly longer than half of cymbium (
