Diagnosis.
This species is close to
P. densimacularis

in appearance (

). It is characterized by the gnathos with a curved apical spine, and the sacculus with a large apical spine directing upward (

).
Remarks.
There is slight variation in the specimen collected from
Hong Kong
: the costa in the male genitalia is gently arched and the cornutus is slightly longer comparing to the length of the phallus.
