except as follows.
Boby length 1.0–
1.4 mm
. General color brown to dark brown, moderately pollinose, without conspicuous pigmentation. Face, gena and lower frons reddish brown. Facial ridge relatively narrow. Male facial ridge between antennae as wide as width of scape. Female facial ridge between antennae slightly broader than width of scape. Eye height

. 2.1–2.4 times genal height. Posterodorsal katepisternal bristle short, half as long as distance between bristle base and wing base. Wing almost clear, length of second costal sector
ca
. 0.40–0.44X length of third. Mid femur usually with only one anterior preapical bristle. Mid tibia of male with small ventral bristles on distal third. Mid femur of male with 7 ventral proximal bristles. Abdomen short and stout.

Male terminalia: Dorsomedial length of epandrium similar in length to sternite 8. Sternite 5 with stout bristles near posterior margin. In lateral view, ventral apex of sturstylus truncate; cercus slightly sinuate at middle. Ejaculatory apodeme only 1/4 as long as aedeagal apodeme.
Female terminalia: Paired spermathecae with distal portion similar in length to basal portion, and with duct nearly 3 times as long as spermatheca. Single spermatheca with duct short, subequal to length of spermathecal body.

Etymology: The specific epithet refers to the sinuate cercus of the male in the lateral view.
