REMARKS. The species has been associated with the
Chaco
floristic province in
Argentina
(
Sanborn & Heath 2014
). It can be distinguished from
A. nigrovittata
Distant, 1905d
by the larger body size (greater than
30 mm
vs. about
28 mm
), a head and thorax that is only marked with piceous rather than being mainly piceous, and the lack of a transverse piceous fascia on the anterior pronotal collar.
DISTRIBUTION. The species has been reported from
