Oval, compact, 2.7–4.0 mm (mean = 3.1 mm , n = 18) in length; 1.4–1.8 mm (mean = 1.6, n = 18); derm fuscous; rostrum with three dorsal carinae; antennal club as long as funicular segments 4–7; segment 1 of antennal club longer than funicular segment 7; disc of thorax, with small basal triangular macula of white scales proximal to scutellum; scales on pleuron of thorax bifid; mesepimeron, mesepisternum with clavate luteus scales; scales on thorax and elytra fuscous, with confused macula and fascia on elytra; base of hind femur broader than tibiae, fuscorufous, knee fuscous; tarsi piceous; metauncus bifid; sternite 1 longer than 2 behind coxal cavity. Genitalia: median lobe of aedeagus 0.6 mm (n = 1) in length, 0.2 mm (n = 1) in width, margins thin, evenly spaced from base to slightly broader apex, in lateral view rather thick, apex deflected to rather sub­acute point; apodeme 0.9 mm (n = 1) in length (Figs. 97–99). China : Guangxi Province , Longsheng; Yunnan Province , Xishuangbanna, Lijiang; Sichuan Province , Maerkang; Fujian Province , Shaowu, Tachuland (BPBM); Japan ; Russia : Kuril Island, Kunanshir, Ivanskii; Primorie Territory, Anuchinskii District. Remarks. Closely resembles C. misellus in general form and color, but all femora armed with small tooth, metauncus bifid.
