Setae vi situated posterior to level of setae si . Sensillae SBa- or SBb-type. Agenital series with 1 pair of setae. Pseudanal series with 2 pairs of setae. Number of leg setae: coxae 1–1–1–1, trochanters 1–1–0–0, femora 7–4–3–4, genua 4–4–3–3, tibiae 5–3–3–3. All setae on genu and tibia of leg I similar in shape. In larvae, antaxial and paraxial claws short, subequal, and sharp-ended. Hosts and distribution. Falconiformes (Falconidae) : FalcO cuvierii Smith from Rwanda [ Southern Prov., Akanyaru] ( Fain 1956b ) and F. tinnunculus Linnaeus from Chad ( Fain 1963d ).
