Remarks.
Munidopsis simplex
, has been previously reported in all sectors of Gulf of Mexico; Caribbean Sea; Eastern Atlantic; from 116-3971 m (
Felder et al. 2009
); 458-1830 m
(
Baba et al. 2008
); and 1000-3968 m (Kilgoure and Shirley 2014). Specimen in this analysis was found off Holbox Island,
Yucatan
(ESE) at 806 m depth. The only male (CL = 17.9 mm) was collected in spring.
